I can’t actually believe that we’ve been here for more than two months! It seams that we’ve only been here for 2 weeks, but if that was true I would be so tired I would be dead.  So far my impressions of Jerusalem are that it is so cool to be in the Holy Land. I still can’t believe we’re here, I keep thinking that I’m going to wake up any minute and realize that it’s all a dream. I don’t want to leave yet because it has been awesome seeing the every day things happen in a non every day place. But on the other hand I haven’t made any friends here so I’m looking forward to seein’  my old buds again. I would like to come back for college. Specifically to JUC.

That’s it for now!

Jerusalem is beautiful. I love all the flowers blooming. It doesn’t seem like we have been here for 2 months. It has gone by fast. I have really enjoyed going to the places that Jesus has been. Everywhere we go, I make a point to touch whatever I can just in case Jesus touched it. Going in the Old City and getting on the rooftops is my favorite thing to do. I expected the roads to be dirt but everything is paved like home. Recently I have gotten to be friends with a girl that is the daughter of a guy in my dad’s school. She will be spending the day with us tomorrow. Her name is Kate. That will be really fun to have someone over.

I’m excited about going home but I love being here.

Hi to all my friends!

I loved when mom took us to the zoo. I loved the giraffes and all the animals. Going to daddy’s school is a lot of fun. There is a large garden there that we can play at and I love eating in the kitchen at his school. I would like to come back to Jerusalem when I get older and go to daddy’s school. I would like to go back home because I like Texas. But I like going in the tunnels here and finding pottery on the ground.

Bye,
Lillian

I know it's silly, but I started crying as I read the girls posts and looked at their photos. Thanks, I really enjoy reading about how you are doing. I miss you soooo much!

I sure miss Israel. It seems like we've been home so long already, but seeing your pictures brings it all back again.

Having you guys drop in on us every so often was a real highlight of our trip and I love telling others about it.

Hope to see you again soon.

:) Cool to hear your perspectives. Glad you guys have been enjoying your time so much that it's gone by quickly.

Tally, it sounds like you are appreciating it for the wonderful experience it is. I'm sure it's tough not having any friends there but you will have SO much to share with your old friends when you get back :)

Celine, I love that you make a point to touch everything. To me that would be so overwhelming - to know Jesus walked those same streets that you are. BTW - love the hat. Copeland just got one almost like that except it's silver.

Lillian, great headstand! :)

Love you all!
